The Future of Core HR: Building the Business Case for Automation and Integration

This report, based on data of more than 160 organizations, builds on Aberdeen's previous research by examining how Best-in-Class organizations enable their decision-makers to leverage core HR data to drive business results. Analysis of survey data, collected in July and August of 2010, builds the business case for automation, integration and self-service. Best-in-Class organizations are able to balance the need to manage the costs of HR service delivery with the need to improve employee satisfaction with HR and relieving the administrative burden placed on HR personnel. The study also shows that collaborating with business managers and monitoring the effectiveness of these functions are differentiating top performers.
